Today, the term "Shaman"” is use for a trained healer who shifts into a conscious theta dream state to journey for information in a parallel reality and obtain spiritual knowledge for healing and guidance. Knowledge is obtained through the heart - through “knowing” - through truth. It is a practice that is meant to be used as part of a holistic approach to healing.
